The following is a selection of some
specific accomplishments of the Casco Bay Estuary Partnership:

Initiated a coordinated habitat
restoration effort and catalyzed on-the-ground projects through seed
funding, grant-writing, and technical support.

Facilitated a 14-municipality
interlocal collaboration on the management of stormwater (Interlocal
Stormwater Working Group).

Facilitated the re-opening of over 300
acres of high value habitat through conservation.

Helped protect over 3,000 acres of high
value habitat through conservation.

Brought expertise on marine invasive
species and stormwater management in cold climates to Maine
and the region through conferences.

Compiled and analyzed available data on
14 indicators of the health of Casco Bay to publish a "State of the Bay 2005" report for release at
the "State of the Bay 2005" conference on November 3, 2005.
