The goal of the Community-Based Habitat Enhancement Program is to support local, community-based, projects that combine habitat enhancement activities with strong education and stewardship components.  The program provides partial funding to on-the-ground habitat enhancement projects that do not necessarily address habitat restoration priorities identified by the Casco Bay Habitat Restoration Committee, but give area residents, particularly youth, an opportunity to be directly involved with habitat enhancement and stewardship.
