FORUM OVERVIEW

At this forum, scientists and managers working on marine invasives species issues throughout New England addressed questions related to the issue of marine invasions in Maine.  Presentations included the results of an August 2003 survey fvor marine invasives species in Casco Bay and ports south of Casco Bay in New England; information about specific bio-invaders; potential pathways for their introduction; and a case study from Massachusetts on how to manage what's here and keep potential new invasions out.
